Academic accomplishments: AP Scholar with Distinction, Member of National Honors Society and Honors Societies in Science, Math, and Foreign Languages, High Honors throughout high school, Ranked second in state for the Test of Engineering Aptitude, Mathematics, and Science
Athletic accomplishments: On the varsity tennis team since freshman year, 2017 Central Connecticut Conference champions
How I prepare for a game: I always have a snack before a match and then warm up either with my opponent or a teammate, starting with groundstrokes and ending with serves.
What did you enjoy the most about this past season? My favorite part was the State Tournament because it was an opportunity to play challenging players and watch good tennis.
Most memorable moment as a high school athlete: My most memorable moment was my sophomore year, beating Simsbury 4-3 to win our conference.
Favorite pro or college athlete: Gael Monfils because of his ability to pull off impossible shots during matches.
College plans: I plan to study physics at a research institution and hope to continue playing tennis.
