Carolina On Their Minds

The Rocky Hill/Cromwell/Portland American Legion baseball team is heading to Shelby, NC for the American Legion World Series for the second consecutive year.  RCP earned another trip to Carolina with a 5-0 victory over Bristol in the Northeast Regional championship at Muzzy Field on Sunday.

RCP (32-5) is the first team since East Hartford in 1991-92 to win back-to-back Northeast Regional titles. RCP will open the 2015 World Series on Thursday with a 4 p.m. game  vs Great Lakes Regional champion Midland, MI. Play continues on Friday for RCP with a game against Mid-South Regional champion New Orleans.
