Dave Sevigny and Kevin Larkin, Rocky Hill: Sevigny, a senior, hurled a no-hitter Thursday in a win at Tolland, striking out 4 batters. Larkin led the way for the Terriers in the previous day’s win against Fermi. On the mound, the junior struck out 7 and earned the win, while at the plate he went 1-3 with an RBI and scored the winning run in the eighth.

Brian Hollister, Somers: The senior continued his outstanding pitching in a win at SMSA, taking a no-hitter into the fifth inning and striking out 11.

Tucker Lord, Cromwell: The senior went 4-4 and smacked a 2-run triple in a win at Valley Regional.

Greg Kraucanus, Fermi: The senior kickstarted the offense in a win against Bloomfield, going 6-8 and driving in 6.


Julia Slavin and Victoria Spellman, Rocky Hill: The juniors terrorized Coventry in a blowout win on Monday. Slavin smashed two three-run homers, while Spellman went 5-5 and scored 5 runs.

Kristi Van Meter, RHAM: The sophomore struck out a combined 41 batters over three starts. Van Meter and the Sachems defeated Rockville and Bloomfield but lost to Middletown.

Julia Karnes, Glastonbury: The sophomore went 4-5 with 3 RBI in a win at East Hartford.

Laura Somerville, Suffield: The senior was again overpowering against Canton, striking out 13 in a 5-1 win.

Lina Nyugen, South Windsor: The senior second baseman smacked a homer and two doubles in Friday’s blowout win against Manchester.


Matt Molloy, Jared Anderson, Pat Sullivan, Rocky Hill: The trio combined to score 18 goals in Monday’s 21-13 win at Bristol Central. Molloy, a junior, led the way with 8 goals, while Anderson and Sullivan both scored 5.

Ray McCarthy, Spencer Beebe, Christian Paley Somers: The trio combined to score 15 goals in Thursday’s blowout win against Ellington, with McCarthy leading the way with 7 and Beebe and Paley adding 5 and 3 goals, respectively. Paley had also scored three times two days earlier in a win against South Windsor.

Shaun Monaghan, Rockville: The senior scored four goals against both Ledyard and Woodstock Academy.

Brenden Race, South Windsor: The senior goalie recorded 18 saves in a loss to East Catholic.


Danielle Hollister, Madison Renaud, Laura Morton, Somers: Renaud scored a combined 11 goals in wins at Northwest Catholic and Ellington, with Hollister scoring 8 times between the 2 games. Morton made 13 saves against Ellington and preserved the win by stopping a shot with 13 seconds remaining.

Maddie Norman, Lindsay Shettle, Angela McCarthy, Glastonbury: Norman averaged 3 goals in wins against Southington, Simsbury and East Lyme, while Shettle scoring a combined goals against the same three teams. McCarthy scored a combined 7 goals against Southington and East Lyme.

Alyssa Powers, Ellington: The junior scored a combined 7 goals against East Catholic and Somers.

Hannah Lapenta, Tolland: The junior scored 3 goals against both Suffield and Northwest Catholic.


Igor Biahliak, Nate Schliphack, Joseph Santiago-Campos, Rockville: The trio all had outstanding games in a Thursday win against Enfield. Biahliak led the way with 19 kills and 12 ace and Schliphack and Santiago-Campos both earned 15 assists.

Zach Hirsch and Boomer Romano, Enfield: Hirsch, a junior, averaged 15 assists in games against East Hartford and Rockville. Romano, a senior, smashed 15 kills in a win over Hall.

Tyler Porcello, Fermi: The senior dished out 35 assists in a loss at Simsbury.
