Top Performers of the Week

GIRLS BASKETBALL

Mary Baskerville, Enfield: The junior forward averaged 27 points against Prince Tech and Lewis Mills in the tenth-seeded Raiders first and second round M Tournament games. Baskerville also recorded 11 blocks and 9 rebounds against Prince Tech.

Molly Murphy, South Windsor: The junior forward scored 17 points against New Milford and Glastonbury in the first-seeded Bobcats LL Tournament games. Murphy also grabbed 9 rebounds and dished out six assists against New Milford.

Meridith Ouellette, Suffield: The senior guard scored 24 points in the sixth-seeded Wildcats first round win against Northwestern in the M Tournament. During the game, Ouellette moved into second place on the program’s all-time scoring list.

Mya Villard, Cromwell: The junior forward averaged 17 points against Hillhouse and Stonington in the fourth-seeded Panthers M Tournament games.    

Emma Belcourt, Cromwell: The junior averaged 17 points in two tournament games.

Lauren Biancardi, South Windsor: Averaged 11 points, 4 steals and 4 assists in two tournament games.

BOYS BASKETBALL

Sam Flynn, Suffield: The junior forward led the Wildcats with 21 points in their NCCC Tournament semifinals loss at SMSA.

Hockey

Ryan Gothers, Fermi/Enfield/East Granby/Stafford: The senior forward scored three goals in the CCC South tournament to help the Falcons to the title. Gothers scored twice in a 4-1 championship game win against E.O. Smith/Tolland.

Ryan Monro, Fermi/Enfield/East Granby/Stafford: The senior forward scored twice in the CCC South Championship game.

Brian Riley, Fermi/Enfield/East Granby/Stafford: Scored twice in the team’s 4-2 semifinal win against Newington/Berlin/Manchester.

Matt Holdaway, Glastonbury: The senior forward scored the winning goal in the second overtime of the CCC North Championship game against Simsbury. Holdaway also scored in the Tomahawks 5-3 semifinal win against East Catholic.

Matt Schoen, E.O. Smith/Tolland:  The senior goalie recorded 53 saves in the Bucks two CCC South Tournament games, with his 25 saves helping them to a 4-1 semifinal win over Bolton/Coventry/Rockville/RHAM

Tyler MacLean, Glastonbury: Recorded a goal and an assist in the semifinals.

Nick Hock, Wethersfield/Rocky Hill/Middletown: Scored twice in a 5-4 win at the Eastern CT Eagles.
