Top Performers of the Week


Max Odell, South Windsor: The junior defeated Somers Jacob Berry Parker 3-0 to win the 160 pound title.

Khamri Thomas, Suffield/Windsor Locks/East Granby: The senior won the 195 championship with a hard-fought 6-5 victory over Simsbury’s Jacob Feldman.

Adam Patsun, Somers: The senior won the 195 pound third-place match with a pin of Newtown’s Andy Hubina.

Devon Schoeberger, South Windsor: The sophomore won the 113 pounds third-place match with a 3-1 victory over Newtown’s Luca Crudo.


Alex Goslin, South Windsor: Had an outstanding game on both ends against Conard in the Panthers CCC Tournament semifinals win, scoring 14 and dishing out five assists while also snatching six steals. 

Emma Belcourt, Cromwell: The junior guard scored 17 in the Panthers 53-52 overtime loss to Morgan in the Shoreline Tournament championship game.

Amy McConnell, South Windsor: The senior guard scored 23 in the Panthers 64-31 win over Conard.

Nicole Rojas, Cromwell: The senior guard came through in the clutch against Morgan. She hit a layup right before the buzzer to send the game into overtime and drained a jumper to tie the game at 52 with 17 seconds remaining in overtime.

Danielle Delano, Enfield: The freshman forward scored 20 points in an NCCC Tournament semifinal loss at Avon.


Joe Tamburro, South Windsor: The senior scored 64 points in games against East Hartford (regular season) and then Hartford Public and Maloney (CCC Tournament). Tamburro had a monster game in the Bobcats 55-53 victory at Hartford Public in the first round, scoring 35 points while draining 15 of his 19 field goals.

Tyler Johnson, Rockville: The senior forward scored 56 points in games against Fermi and Ellington.

Rachone Preston, Enfield: The senior guard averaged 20 points in contests at Avon and Somers.  

Christian Porydzy, Glastonbury: Averaged 18.7 and made 10 three-pointers in games against Wethersfield (regular season) and Windsor and Simsbury (CCC Tournament). 


Josh Barnes, E.O. Smith/Tolland: The senior forward scored 7 goals against Farmington/Avon/Windsor, Tri-Town and Newington/Berlin/Manchester. Barnes was especially outstanding against Tri—Town, scoring 4 goals. Barnes performance helped the team improve to 16-2-1.

Brian Riley, Fermii/Enfield/East Granby/Stafford: The senior forward earned hat tricks in wins against Rockville/Bolltonn/Coventry/RHAM and Wethersfield/Rocky Hill/Middletown. Riley helped the team end the regular season with a 13-7 record.

Pete Mayer, E.O. Smith/Tolland: Scored twice against both Farmington-Avon-Windsor and Tri-Town. The senior also had three assists in the second win.

Paul Bates, Rockville/Bolton/Coventry/RHAM: The junior scored three goals and had an assist in a 5-4 overtime loss to Fermi/Enfield/East Granby/Stafford.

Mitch Bielonko, Suffield/Granby/Windsor Locks: The senior forward’s hat trick led the team to a 9-0 rout of Tri-Town.

Nick Hock, Wethersfield/Rocky Hill/Middletown: The senior scored twice in a 4-0 win against the Eastern CT Eagles.
