Top Performers of the Week


Class S

Jacob Berry Parker, Somers: The junior won the 160 pound championship, dominating Granby Memorial’s Steffen Jasner 14-0.

Adam Patsun, Somers: The junior matched Berry Parker with a 9-0 victory in the 195 championship match. Patsun defeated Josh Lachs of Weston.

Class M

Khamri Thomas, Suffield/Windsor Locks/East Granby: The senior won the 195 championship with a 16-3 victory over Killingly’s Connor Lemley.

Class L

Devon Schoenberger, South Windsor: The sophomore captured the 113 title with an 11-1 takedown of Maloney’s Demetre Carnot. Schoenberger and teammate Max Odell led the Bobcats to a 7th place finish.

Max Odell, South Windsor: The junior concluded his dominant season with another great performance in the 160 championship match, defeating Fitch’s Billy Goff 13-0.



Caitlin Swanson, Tolland: The junior concluded her outstanding season with a second place finish in the 3200 and a fourth place showing in the 1600. Swanson ran an 11:05.96 in the 3200 and a 5:08.03 in the 1600.

Haley Hasty, Rockville: The senior finished third in the 3200 and fourth in the 1000 with times of 11:06.06 and 3:03.81.

Jennifer Jacobs, Tolland: The senior placed third in the long jump with a leap of 17-07.  Jacobs also ran on the Eagles 4×400 meter relay team, which finished third.

Daisia Walker, East Windsor: The senior was fourth in the long jump with a leap of 17-06.

Kaitlyn Hebert, Glastonbury: The senior ended her memorable career with a fifth place finish in the 1000. Hebert ran a 3:03.94.


Tyrik Henry, Enfield: The senior was runner up in the 55 meter hurdles with a time of 7.72.

Randy Neish, Glastonbury: The junior finished fourth in the 1000 meters with a time of 2:33.86.


Jeff Czapla, Rocky Hill: The senior dominated the inside in wins against Windsor and Rockville, averaging 22.5 points and 13 rebounds.

Nate Laszewski, Avon: Averaged 22 points in wins against East Windsor and Granby.  

Brendan Boornazian, Rocky Hill: Combined to score 38 points in losses to East Catholic and Bloomfield, draining eight three-pointers along the way. 

Christian Porydzy, Glastonbury: The senior drained the game-winning shot in a comeback win at RHAM. Porydzy’s 17 points helped the Tomahawks grab their fourth consecutive win. 


Meridith Ouellette, Suffield: The senior had a huge game against Classical, scoring 34 points in a 71-49 win.

Alex Goslin, South Windsor: The junior led the Bobcats with 26 points in a 64-55 win against Northwest Catholic in the CCC tournament quarterfinals. Goslin constantly got to the line, scoring 20 of her points from the charity stripe.

Mary Baskerville, Enfield: The freshman scored 19 points to lead her squad to a thrilling 38-36 win over Suffield in the NCCC tournament quarterfinals.


Brendan Looney, Suffield/Granby/Windsor Locks: The junior had an outstanding game against the Eastern CT Eagles, scoring three goals in a 10-0 win.

Pete Mayer, E.O. Smith/Tolland: The senior combined to score three goals in wins at Lyman Hall/H-K/Coginchaug and Rockville/Bolton/Coventry/RHAM. His efforts helped the team improve to 14-2.

Jason and Troy Marin, Fermi/Enfield/East Granby/Stafford: The brothers both scored two goals in a blowout of Farmington/Avon/Windsor.

Tyler MacLean, Glastonbury: The star forward scored the game-winning goal in overtime against rival Simsbury.

Scott Skenyon, South Windsor: The junior goalie recorded a combined 58 saves in contests against Northwest Catholic and Simsbury.
