How Megan prepares for a game: On the bus ride to a game, I like to listen to music and take a nap. Then, I help the freshman and JV teams warm up and cheer them on during their games to get myself pumped to play.

What Megan is most excited about this season: I am most excited about the positive attitude the team tries to have at all times. Staying positive during both practice and games helps us prepare for challenges we may encounter while playing. This way, we are able to support each other the best we can and work through them. Our positive mental attitude really helps to improve all aspects of the team, both on and off the court.

Megan’s most memorable moment as a high school athlete: My most memorable moment as a high school athlete would be beating Avon at home last year. It was the first time we had won against them since I have been in high school, and we played one of the best and hardest games that I can remember.

What Megan hopes to accomplish this season: I hope for the team to have a good run in both the NCCC and the state tournament.

Megan’s favorite pro or college athlete: Rafael Nadal

Megan’s college plans: I plan on attending college to major in international relations or to pursue a degree in law.
