Rockville SAM Seamus Foley

Seamus is a Daughters of the American Revolution recipient, Connecticut Kids Court Essay Finalist, All-Academic team recipient, and has made honor roll. He earned a varsity letter in soccer his freshman, sophomore, junior, and senior year. He also received a varsity letter his freshman and sophomore year for lacrosse.

Sports Played: Rockville High School soccer, basketball, and lacrosse – as well as countless Vernon travel teams.

How Seamus prepares for a game: I take some time alone to prepare myself mentally for the game/win. As well as continually hydrate myself throughout the day and eat properly the night before.

What Seamus is most excited about this season: I am excited about playing my final season with my team, Rockville High School, which I am proud to be a part of for the past four years.

Seamus’ most memorable moment as a high school athlete: Senior night, junior year, when we defeated Enrico Fermi High School under the lights in front of our great fans! I would also never forget my coaches: Coach Shoemaker, Coach Boutwell, Coach Jones, Coach Green, Coach Townsend, Coach Bunker, Coach Cody, and Coach Burns for making this memory possible.

What Seamus hopes to accomplish this season: A run at the state tournament. Not just the qualification, but to actually excel and prove every doubter of Rockville High School athletics wrong.

Seamus’ favorite pro or college athlete: David Luiz

Seamus’ college plans: I am weighing my options between following a military route or going to university.
