SHELBY, NC – What started out as a pitcher’s duel ended up becoming slugfest. But unfortunately for the Rocky Hill/Cromwell/Portland team, the end result was the same at the American Legion World Series. RCP dropped a heartbreaking 8-5 loss in 10 innings at the hands of Jacksonville, FL in its second game of round robin play at the ALWS.

Kevin Radziewicz had three hits and  Tommy Seaver two for RCP, which drops to 0-2 at the Series. RCP  will play its final game today at 5 p.m. vs Midland, MI and will need a number of things to break in its favor to have a chance to advance out pool play.
