Janelle Harrison is Cromwell’s S.A.M.

Janelle is a varsity basketball standout who has received Honors with Distinction, and the Student of the Month award at Cromwell High.

She was part of the team that was Class S runner-up in 2011, state champs in Class M in 2013, and three-time Shoreline Conference Champions. She scored her 1,000th point in her junior year, and was first team all-league as a sophomore. She was also named MVP for the Shoreline Conference as a junior and as a senior, and was selected to the CHSCA and JCC All-Star teams.

How I prepare for a game:

Listen to music and eat Skittles.

What are you most excited about this season?

Just having fun playing since already decided on college (will be playing basketball at the University of Hartford).

Most memorable moment as a high school athlete:

Winning a state championship

What do you hope to accomplish this season:

Win another state championship.
