Leslie Recognized by National Football Foundation

Ellington High School senior Joseph Leslie was recognized by the National Football Foundation as a scholar athlete in a ceremony held at Ellington High School on March 26th.

Joe is the first football player in Knights history to earn this prestigious designation. Criteria for the award include but are not limited to academic achievement, athletic accomplishments, and community leadership.

As a result of his award, Joe’s name will be placed on a plaque on permanent exhibit at the College Football Hall of Fame in South Bend, Indiana.
