Locals Named Hockey All-Stars

Ellington’s Zack Palmer and Ronnie Williams have been named to the Metropolitan Junior Hockey League  All-Star team and will play in the league’s annual “Prospects” All-Star game on January 26 in Walpole, MA.  Palmer and Williams are line mates on the Hartford Junior Wolfpack this season. They are former standouts for the Tri-Town Terrorcats, the high school co-op team which includes players from Ellington , East Windsor and Somers High.

So far this season, Williams and Palmer have been top performers for the Junior Wolf Pack and have helped lead the team to a 19-7 record. The MJHL consists of 26 teams from Washington DC, PA, NJ, NY, CT, RI, MA, VT and NY. Players range in age from 16-21 years old.
