Student Athlete of the Month: Farmington’s Kelly

Bridget has put together an impressive resume both on and off the playing field. She is in the National Honor Society, is a member of the CCC-All Academic team, was a member of the 2013 Class L State Championship basketball team and has been a four-year starter and she was a two-time “Fab Five” selection by the Hartford Courant.

How Bridget prepares for a game: I eat a good meal and relax.

How Bridget has improved during the fall season: I became more versatile and was able to play multiple positions by the end of the season.

Bridget’s most memorable moment in an Indians uniform: My most memorable moment in my high school uniform was winning the Class L Basketball State Championship at Mohegan Sun.

Bridget’s proudest accomplishment from the fall season: Having a successful season by going 9-2-5 in one of the toughest leagues in the state, the CCC West.

Bridget’s favorite pro athlete: Maya Moore

Bridget’s college plans: I haven’t decided where but I hope to major in Elementary Education and play basketball.
