Farmington set to face New Canaan

The Indians clinched their first playoff berth in over 13 years with a 34-0 shutout of Plainville on Thanksgiving day, and will take the long trek to New Canaan to begin their hunt for a Class L title.

Quarterback Jeremy Bucks and running back Ivan Guadalupe headline a potent offense, looking to upset the No. 3 seeded Rams, who have compiled an 11-1 record in the regular season.

The Rams had their only loss Thanksgiving day, faltering 28-24 to Darien, giving them a blemished record. The loss could be good, or bad for the Indians, who were also recently beaten, a 44-24 upset by Manchester back on November 15.

The No. 6 Indians are 9-2, and a win would send them to a neutral site Saturday against either Platt or North Haven.

Check back tomorrow night for complete coverage from the Indians battle against New Canaan.
