Ellington soccer star leads SNHU

Ellington’s Brian Francolini knows how to win on the soccer pitch.

First, in 2007 and 2008 he helped lead the Knights to Class M titles.

Now, at Southern New Hampshire University, Francolini is a part of one of the best teams in the entire country, with a, 18-1 record and 18-game winning streak.

Francolini, a senior,  is second on the team with 13 points this season, and the team won the NE 10 conference and the NE10 tournament this year.

SNUH is currently ranked No. 1 in all of Division 2 soccer and fighting for a national title in the NCAA tournament. After a first round bye, the team defeated Wilmington, Delaware 3-0. They face LIU Post in the second round Friday at 1o a.m.
