Ramblers Fall to Cougars in Championship

ENFIELD- The Ramblers’ A-Team lost its final game of the season, the NCFL Championship game, to the Colchester Cougars by a final score of 20-12.

The Cougars went up big in the first half, taking a 20-6 lead into halftime.  Enfield’s defense would keep Colchester off the board in the second half, but unfortunately for the Ramblers, the offense would provide only one touchdown in the final half of play.

“I’m real proud of our team,” Enfield head coach Marcel Dumas said of his players.  “They worked their butts off.  It was a hard-fought game.”

The Division winning Ramblers finished the season with a record of 7-3-1, and were led by Zach Owens, Mason Dumas, and Cooper Lorenz.
