Glastonbury girls XC beats SW

On Tuesday, October 8 the Glastonbury Girls’ Cross Country team beat South Windsor by securing the seven out of the top ten finishers.

The race took place at Nevers Park- South Windsor. In addition to Glastonbury winning the meet, they claimed the top three finishes overall.

Coming in first was junior Kaitlyn Hebert with a time of 20:10. Following her was sophomore Allison McArdle at 20:12. Right behind her was Kristen Arborio, senior, with a time of 20:13. The next Glastonbury finisher was sophomore Kaylee Stebbins running a 20:18, finishing in fifth place. Sixth place was also taken by the tomahawks, with Kat Hastings, sophomore, at 20:19.

Freshman Gaelyn Kattman finished 8th overall with a time of 20:21. Kelly Dickau also had a strong finish with 21:51. The team is looking forward to their CCC meet on Wednesday, October 16.
