Male Athlete of the Week: Glastonbury’s Ollie

Jalen Ollie did everything a coach can ask a quarterback to do in a 42-14 win by Glastonbury over South Windsor on September 28.

“He is multi-faceted,” Glastonbury head coach Scott Daniels said. “He can make plays with his arm and when things break down he can make plays with his legs. He can see the field, he can react to it, he has become a multi-tooled player.”

Ollie scored four touchdowns, two through the air and two more on the ground.  He compiled 302 yards on 16-for-24 passing, and ran for 21 yards on six carries.

Ollie found Ethan Ericson and Donevin O’Reilly on his touchdown strikes.

The talented senior will be back at it Friday as Glastonbury takes on Norwich Free Academy.
